Flood Warning: Groundwater flooding in Twyford and Hensting

Groundwater levels in Twyford and Hensting are high, but slowly falling. Over the last week, 27mm of rainfall was recorded at Otterbourne. A small number of properties in Twyford and Hensting are currently being affected by cellar flooding. Water continues to affect Hensting Lane. From Tuesday (07/05/2024) to Saturday (11/05/2024), high pressure with more settled, drier weather is expected across Hampshire. We expect groundwater levels to carry on slowly falling. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. If you have pumps to help reduce water levels, please ensure that they are operational. This Flood Alert will be updated by 18:00 on Tuesday 14/05/2024.
