This is a flood warning update. Rising river levels and forecast heavy rain later today and overnight are expected to cause flooding today. Flooding is expected on 26 January 2026. Areas most at risk include Alton Pancras, Piddletrenthide, Piddlehinton, Druce, Puddletown, Athelhampton, Affpuddle, Briantspuddle, Throop and Wareham including Purbeck View Park. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one and activate any flood protection products you may have. This message will be updated by 11 AM on 27 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
