High tides, strong winds and large waves are expected to cause flooding this evening.
Flooding is expected from 07:45PM to 11:45PM on Friday.
Significant wave overtopping is likely due to large waves and strong winds.
Areas particularly at risk include Exmouth - Morton Crescent and The Esplanade. Seaton - Harbour Road and Riverside Way.
The high tide at Exmouth on Friday is at 09:45PM, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 2.41 mAOD, which is 0.81 metres above tide table level. Gale force 8 south-easterly winds and offshore wave heights of over 3.8m are forecast over the high tide.
Coastal conditions should ease after Saturday morning's high tide.

Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
