High tides, strong winds and large waves are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected from 06:45PM to 10:45PM on Friday.
Areas particularly at risk include Challaborough, Hope Cove, North and South Sands - South Sands Hotel and Salcombe Sea. Kayaks and Old Lifeboat House, Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Southpool, Frogmore, and Lower Batson.
The high tide at Plymouth on Friday is at 08:45PM, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 2.8 mAOD, which is 0.86 metres above tide table level. Force 7 south-easterly winds and offshore wave heights of over 6.3m are forecast over the high tide.
Coastal conditions should ease after Saturday morning's high tide.

Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
