High river levels are causing flooding today.

Flooding is expected on 26 January 2026 into 27 January 2026

Heavy rainfall has caused river levels to rise, with further bands of heavy rain forecast overnight and into Tuesday morning.

Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from around 22:00 on Monday 26 January 2026.

The main areas of concern are properties and low lying areas around Coulson Park, the Sewage Treatment Works, Lostwithiel Railway Station, Quay Street, and properties along The Parade. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.

River levels are forecast to be at their highest between 5am and 7am.

We are closely monitoring the situation .

Activate any flood protection products you may have .

This message will be updated by 2:00PM on 27 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
