Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight. 

Flooding is expected from the evening of 22 January 2026 at 19:00. 

Locations most affected will be Masham including properties situated off the A6108, Fearby Road, Westholme Road, Leyburn Road, The Avenue, Avenue Bank, Quaker Terrance, Silver Street and College Lane. 

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . 

Start acting on your flood plan if you have one and activate any flood protection products you may have one
