Forecast high river levels throughout the evening may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible from the early hours of 22 October 2025 . 

Areas most at risk are low-lying roads and land around the brooks in Leicester City, including recreational land where water depths could become hazardous. Areas particularly at risk include those around the Braunstone Brook, Lubbesthorpe Brook, Melton Brook, Saffron Brook, Willow Brook, Bushby Brook, Evington Brook, Thurnby Brook and Scraptoft Brook. Heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours, with low confidence over timing and locations. River levels at Leicester Braunstone Avenue Gauge may begin rising from 02:00 on 23/10/25. Levels will remain high until 18:00 on 23/10/25.
