Forecast rising river levels overnight may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 23 October 2025 .
Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads around the tributaries to the River Erewash near the border of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, including Golden Brook and Stream, Boundary Brook, Nut Brook, Bailey Brook, Beauvale Brook and Nether Green Brook. Heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours, with low confidence over timing and locations. We expect river levels to begin rising from 23:45 on 22/10/2025. Levels will remain high until 12:00 noon on 23/10/2025.
