Areas most at risk are around the River Great Ouse from Newport Pagnell to Sharnbrook.

River levels remain high and steady as a result of heavy rainfall from Storm Goretti. Flooding is possible today and tonight 11 January 2026. The forecast is for light rain over the next few days and we expect levels to start returning to normal soon.

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels.

Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions and don’t put yourself or others at risk.
