"High river levels may lead to flooding.



Flooding of low lying land and roads remains possible overnight, 15 December 2025, particularly along the Thames near Godstow lock. The forecast is for rainfall overnight which at times may be heavy. Rainfall is expected to clear by the early hours of tomorrow morning, leaving a drier day tomorrow, 16 December 2025. River levels are currently falling steadily through Oxford and expected to continue falling overnight.



We are monitoring rainfall and river levels.



Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
