High groundwater levels may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible . Light rain (12mm) has been recorded in the last week.
Groundwater levels have stabilised in most villages, but in West Tytherley, they continue to slowly rise. Flooding is affecting cellars in Nether Wallop and Pitton. Sewerage system impacts are expected to be ongoing in Pitton. Garden flooding is ongoing in Over Wallop. In West Tytherley, cellar, road and land flooding is expected to begin from Monday 02/03/2026. Mostly dry weather is forecast from Monday 02/03/2026 to Friday 06/03/2026. Groundwater levels in most villages will fall this week. In West Tytherley, the level will continue to slowly rise for another week.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Residents are advised to prepare property resilience measures and ensure that pumps are working where they have been installed .
