Flood Warning: East Meon to Mislingford on the River Meon

High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Sunday. 

Flooding is expected on 01 February 2026 from 21:30, as a lot of rain (20mm) fell on Sunday. 

Flooding will affect roads and property in East Meon and West Meon High Street and at Lynch Lane, Shoe Lane and Church Lane Exton and the Bucks Head Hill, Meonstoke. It will compound and increase flood impacts in areas already affected by groundwater flooding. Rain is forecast to continue until late Sunday night. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce by mid morning Monday 02/02/2026.
