High river levels on Thursday have led to flooding.

Flooding is possible on 18 December 2025 , as a lot of rain (42mm) fell on Thursday.

Flooding is affecting land, fields, and roads at Cadnam, West Wellow, Landford and Ower. Water levels will also be very high around, and affect the mill building at East Wellow. Property flooding is possible and it is possible a Flood Warning will be issued for this shortly. Levels are expected to be higher than on 09/12/2025. Only a small amount of rain is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in Ower by 03:00 on 19/12/2025.

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and will ensure the river is kept free of reported blockages.

Consider activating any flood protection products you may have , including pumps.
