High river levels on Sunday may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible on 01 February 2026 from 19:00, as a lot of rain (10mm) fell on Sunday. 

Flooding could affect the recreation ground at Fleming Park, and the river will be very high at Kingfisher Road. Surface water flooding in roads affecting Chandlers Ford and at Stoneham Way from Chestnut Way to the M27 is also possible. Rain is forecast to continue until 21:00 01/02/2026. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce the Monks Brook by 23:00 01/02/2026. 

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and will ensure the river is kept free of reported blockages.
