High river levels on Sunday may lead to flooding.

Flooding is possible on 01 February 2026 from 23:30, as a lot of rain (30mm) fell on Sunday evening.

Flooding could affect Boarhunt Mill. River levels will be high through Wallington village and surface water could affect Broadcut Retail Park. Similar to the event on 27/01/2026. Levels near the Cob and Pen pub will rise at high tide (23:15 01/02/2026). Rain should shortly ease, and only isolated showers are forecast through Monday. River levels should initially begin to fall in Wallington by 06:00 02/02/2026. However, widespread rain is forecast from the early hours of Tuesday, and river levels are expected to rise again.

We are checking flood defences including the defence wall in Wallington village.

Consider activating any flood protection products you may have . Please keep away from the river until water levels begin to fall.

This message will be updated by 6:00PM on 02 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
