High river levels on Sunday may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible on 01 February 2026 , as a lot of rain (22mm) has fallen in the last 3 hours. 

Flooding could affect roads through East Meon, West Meon including Lynch Lane, Shoe Lane and Church Lane, Exton and Bucks Head Hill at Meonstoke. The river may flood gardens and the Millennium Water Meadows at Wickham. Rain is forecast to continue until early Monday morning. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce by Monday evening (02/02/2026). 

We are closely monitoring the situation and will ensure the river is kept free of reported blockages. 

Consider activating any flood protection products you may have . Particularly properties close to the river, or with pumps for groundwater
