The River Lox is higher than normal, but falling following Friday's rain. Light rain is forecast for much of Sunday. River levels will rise again. Late Sunday evening, minor flood impacts will affect fields, roads, and gardens near the top of the River Lox, including isolated riverside properties at Loxley Bridge on Wrotham Hill, Dunsfold and Petworth Road, Chiddingfold. Also fields, roads and gardens near Brewhurst Mill on Brewhurst Lane and the Onslow Arms, Loxwood. River levels are likely to be higher than normal through Monday. More rain is forecast Monday evening and through Tuesday, which will cause the river to rise again. Further flooding could be possible, particularly on Tuesday. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have. Continue to operate private water control structures at Brewhurst. This message will be updated by 17:00 02/02/2026.
