Flood Warning 065WAF424

Warning added: 11:10, 20th February 2020

River levels in Pulborough remain higher than normal, but are slowly falling. The additional pumps have been removed now, following our operation there to lower flood risk. Flood impacts will continue to affect fields, gardens and roads. River levels in Amberley will also remain high, cause minor flood impacts and be close to properties. Water levels should be lower than recent days, all this week and tide levels will stay relatively low for a fortnight, which means we do not expect water levels in Arundel to be of concern. Periods of rainfall are expected today (Thursday 20/2/2020), over the weekend and on Monday (24/2/2020). The total rain is not significant (5 to 10mm), and not expected to cause flooding to properties, but will likely still cause river levels to rise and extend the duration of minor flood impacts until after the weekend. Please continue to keep flood protection products installed, if you have them. We will continue to monitor river levels and forecasts.
