High river levels on Thursday may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible on 18 December 2025 from 16:00 as rain is forecast to continue all afternoon. 

If as much rain falls as predicted, then minor flooding could affect fields and gardens of riverside properties near the White Hart pub in Buxted, and in Hempstead Mill, Uckfield. In Uckfield, river levels will be high near The Roller Mill, Mill Lane, River Way, Bridge Cottage & Bell Walk. From 19:00 18/12/2025 minor flooding could affect fields and gardens at Isfield Mill. The rain should stop by 22:00 18/12/2025, and only isolated showers are forecast Friday and over the weekend. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in Buxted by 03:00 19/12/2025 and 10:00 19/12/2025 in Isfield.
