High river levels on Wednesday may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible on 22 October 2025 from 23:00 as intense (but uncertain) rainfall is forecast. 

Up to 30mm of rain could occur, but there is low confidence. If as much rain falls as predicted, minor flooding could affect riverside properties near the White Hart pub Buxted and Hempstead Mill, Uckfield. In Uckfield most risk is near The Roller Mill, Mill Lane, River Way, Bridge Cottage & Bell Walk. From 04:00 23/10/2025 minor flooding could affect properties at Isfield Mill and Isfield Bridge. Slightly higher river levels than 20/10/2025. Rain is forecast to continue until Thursday afternoon. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in Buxted by 13:00 23/10/2025.
