High tides over the next two days may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible 2 hours either side of high tide on Tuesday morning, Tuesday evening, and Wednesday morning.
Areas particularly at risk include Torbay, Teignmouth, Beesands, Torcross, Slapton and Dawlish. Locations most affected will be coastal roads and footpaths.
The high tide at Teignmouth on Tuesday morning is at 9am, times of high water will vary along the coast. The forecast total high tide level is 2.37mAOD, which is 0.22 metres above tide table level. Strong force 5-6, south easterly winds and offshore wave heights of over 1m are forecast over the high tide.
Similar coastal conditions are expected for Tuesday evening's high tide at 9:15pm, with a slightly higher tide level.
