This Flood Alert has been issued due to the high tide forecast this afternoon, 08/09/2025.
We do not anticipate the flood alert level to be met during this afternoon’s high tide, but flooding is still possible at low lying lands and roads from 12:45 PM on 08/09/2025 at the following locations:
Fiddlers Ferry, peaking around 1:15 PM
Eastford Road, peaking around 1:30 PM
Arpley Bridge, peaking around 1:45 PM
It is possible that river levels may affect Arpley Road under the railway bridge.
We currently anticipate the Flood Alert level to be met during the next high tide during the early hours of tomorrow morning, 09/09/2025.
Our incident rooms are on standby and we are closely monitoring the situation.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
