River levels have peaked but remain high at the Saxons Lode river gauge as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected to continue. Flooding may affect property at Hanley Road, Upton upon Severn.
Saxons Lode peaked at 5.49m on Monday afternoon 17/02/20.
Further rainfall is expected over the next few days as a result we expect river levels to remain high. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences.
Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and avoid contact with flood water.
This message will be updated by 5pm on Thursday, 20/02/20, or as the situation changes.
