River levels are high but are continuing to fall at the Bredon river gauge. Consequently flooding continues. Flooding is affecting low lying land and Roads adjacent the River Avon from Abbotts Salford to Tewkesbury. Other locations that may be affected include Offenham, Evesham, Twyning.
Peak:
Evesham peaked on Friday afternoon 15/11/19 and Bredon, Saturday morning 16/11/19.
No further significant rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking nearby defences. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
