High tides today may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible from 11pm on 21/01/2026 to 1am 22/01/2026 and from 11am to 1pm on 22/01/2026 

Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the Estuary from Sandhurst to Chepstow and Sharpness over the next few days. Some lengths of the flood embankment at Longney and The Noards may be overtopped. Rodley Lane, Westbury and Awre Road, Brims Pill may be flooded. Predicted peaks: Sandhurst 3.3m to 3.6m on 21/01 11:30pm and 3.4m to 3.7m on 22/01 11:30am. we are not currently expecting flooding at other gauge locations. 

We are closely monitoring the situation . 

Avoid coastal roads and low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded .
