Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight. 

Flooding is expected on 28 February 2026 . 

River levels at Pillings Lock Gauge are rising after heavy rainfall.

Areas most at risk are Barrow Road, Bridge Street and River View. Properties and roads in Barrow upon Soar are also at risk. Light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours.
