Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening. 

Flooding is expected on 28 February 2026 at approximately 21:00. 

Areas most at risk are Slater Street, Woodgate, Dunton Street, Rugby Street, Bassett Street, Repton Street, Central Road, North Mills, Littleholme Street, Duns Lane, Western Boulevard and Upperton Road. Frog Island in Leicester City is also at risk. Rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Freemans Weir Gauge will rise until 00:00 on 01/03/26.
