Forecast rising river levels throughout the evening may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from the early hours of 23 October 2025 .
Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including the Morrisons parks at Glenfield and Anstey. Low-lying land and farmlands in the Glenfield, Anstey, Sileby, Thurcaston, Rothley, Newtown Linford, Cropston, Swithland and Quorn areas. Heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours, with low confidence over timing and locations. River levels at Loughborough Sileby Cossington Road Gauge may begin rising from 02:00 on 23/10/25. Levels will remain high until 18:00 on 23/10/25.
