Rising river levels overnight may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible on 11 January 2026 . 

Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including the B6179 at Kilburn and Little Eaton, and farmlands in the Kilburn and Little Eaton areas. Rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Smithy Houses Gauge are rising rapidly due to the nature of the catchment
