Forecast rising river levels this evening may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from the evening of 02 May 2026 .
Areas most at risk are low-lying recreational areas and roads including High School playing fields on Valley Road and other low lying land and recreational areas, low lying land and roads around the Tottle Brook. There is a decent likelihood of heavy localised rainfall beginning at 17:00 and continuing overnight and through tomorrow morning. River levels at Day Brook Gauge may rise rapidly due to the nature of the catchment

Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded & avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses.
