Flood Warning: River Leen, Day Brook and Tottle Brook in Nottinghamshire

Rising river levels this evening may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible on 18 December 2025 . 

Areas most at risk are low-lying recreational areas and roads including High School playing fields on Valley Road and other low lying land and recreational areas, low lying land and roads around the Tottle Brook. Rainfall is forecast over the next 6 hours. River levels at Bulwell Gauge will remain high until the morning on 19/12/25. 

We are closely monitoring the situation . 

Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .
