Rising river levels this morning may lead to flooding.

Flooding is possible from the morning of 16 February 2026 . River levels are rising following the recent rainfall.

Areas most at risk are low lying roads and riverside areas along the River Mardyke between North Stifford and Purfleet-on-Thames.

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
