Flood Warning: River Great Ouse from Brackley to Thornborough

Areas most at risk are those around the River Great Ouse from Brackley to Thornborough, including Padbury Brook. Flooding is possible this evening and overnight 09 and 10 January 2026 as a result of heavy rainfall from Storm Goretti. We are not expecting the situation to escalate, or to issue any further warning messages at this time.

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels.

Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions and don’t put yourself or others at risk.
