Higher than normal tides tomorrow morning may lead to flooding.

Flooding is possible from 07:30am to 09:30am tomorrow, Monday 30th March.

We expect to see high water levels in Lake Lothing in Lowestoft as well as high sea levels along the Suffolk Coast, impacting on beach access points. The detailed forecast is for a peak level at Lowestoft of 1.76mAODN at 08:30am tomorrow Monday 30 March which is 0.98m above tide tables, Wind Force 6, North westerly. The high tide tomorrow afternoon is not expected to require a flood alert to be issued.

We are closely monitoring the situation .

Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .

This message will be updated by 12:00PM on 30 March 2026 or as the situation changes.
