This message has been issued because some minor flooding to coastal roads and footpaths is likely tomorrow morning between 12am and 2am Wednesday 8th October. Tides are expected to be higher than usual, due to approaching spring tides. Tide levels will be high around the boat yard in Felixstowe Ferry hamlet at the end of Ferry Road, and along riverside areas in Woodbridge and Waldringfield, as well as in surrounding marshland. The detailed forecast for those that use it is for a peak level tonight at Harwich of 2.53mAODN at 1am on Wednesday 8th October which is 0.28m above tide tables, wind force 3, Westerly. Take care on coastal roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation and not expecting the situation to escalate.
