Flood Warning: The tidal Rivers Bure, Ant and Thurne

Tide locking where high tides restrict normal drainage of the river out to sea, throughout today may lead to flooding.

Flooding is possible today, Saturday 22 November, and for the next few days.

We expect to see high water levels around Potter Heigham, Wroxham boat yards and Ferry Road in Horning. We are not expecting the situation to escalate, or to issue any further warning messages at this time.

We are closely monitoring the situation.

Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
