River Evenlode, River Glyme

Warning added: 18:50, 22nd November 2019

no adsremove ads

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels remain high on the River Glyme in the Woodstock area. Therefore, the risk of flooding to low lying land and roads is ongoing. Water levels on the River Evenlode are high but steady. Both the Glyme and the River Evenlode will be responsive to further rainfall this weekend.
The weather forecast is for a generally dry evening before a band of heavy rainfall passes through the area tonight (22/11/19). Further rainfall is forecast for Saturday (23/11/2019). As a result, river levels are expected to remain high and pose an ongoing risk of flooding to low lying land and roads in both catchments. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please remain safe and aware of your local surroundings and refer to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels.
