Flood Warning: River Thames for Shiplake, Lower Shiplake and Wargrave

High river levels today may lead to flooding.



Flooding is possible on 14 February 2026 and into 15 February 2026.



Flooding of property and roads is expected, especially in the Shiplake and Wargrave areas. A Flood Warning is in force for River Thames for Shiplake, Lower Shiplake and Wargrave. Further heavy rain is forecast tomorrow morning. We expect levels to remain high and responsive to further rainfall over the next few days.



We are closely monitoring the situation.



Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. Stay away from flood water - it contains hidden dangers.
