Tuesday's early morning tide at 00:45 on 29/04/2025 is higher than normal due to the effect of the sun and moon. The weather, with light Easterly Force 4 winds, will not change tide table values. The total forecast tide is 6.07 metres Chart Datum (3.02 mAOD) at Littlehampton. For 2 hours either side of high tide, minimal flood impacts are expected. A small amount of water could find its way behind the beach and may pond on nearby land and fields, including at Climping Street Car Park and Mill Lane. Wednesday's early morning tide at 01:30 on 30/04/2025 is forecast to be 4cm lower (2.98 mAOD). Similar flood impacts to Tuesday's early morning tide are expected. From Wednesday 30/04/2025, tides are forecast to reduce and no further flood impacts are expected. We continue to monitor the forecast and routinely check the condition of the beach at Climping. Access could be restricted during and after high tide. Take care if visiting Climping beach. We will update this message by 12:00 on 29/04/2025.
