High tides on Sunday may lead to flooding.

Flooding is possible for 2 hours either side of Sunday evening's tide at 22:15 on 25/10/2026.

The weather increases tide table values by 0.5 m. Total forecast tide is 7.62 metres Chart Datum (3.97 mAOD) at Eastbourne. Westerly Force 5 wind. Beach top properties at Pevensey Bay could be affected by spray, caused by the strong winds, large waves, and higher than normal tides. A small amount of water may affect Herbrand Walk road. Similar minor flood impacts are expected to reoccur over Monday morning's tide at 10:30 on 26/10/2026, which is forecast to be 13 cm higher (4.1 mAOD). Tide levels reduce by 40cm on Tuesday but could be 4.06 mAOD again on Wednesday, although with smaller waves.

We are checking flood defences .

Don't put yourself or others at risk.
