The River Arun had fallen to near normal levels close to Horsham, following Tuesday's rain, but remains high at Pallingham Lock. Friday morning's rain will cause the River Arun to rise again. Further rain is forecast Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon, although relatively small amounts. Additional, small, river rises are expected. Should not rise as high as recent events. Only minor flood impacts are expected, to affect fields, roads, and gardens. River levels will not finally peak until early Sunday in Horsham, and Sunday evening near Pallingham Lock. However more rain is forecast Monday, which will cause the river to rise again and further flooding could be possible next week.
