The River Arun is higher than normal at Pallingham Lock. Minor flood impacts will continue to affect fields, roads, and gardens. Only isolated showers are forecast on Wednesday. River levels should not rise far. On Wednesday evening a band of rain is forecast, currently thought to affect the Sussex coast. Not much rain is forecast to fall on the River Arun. Only a minimal river rise is expected. If more rain than expected occurs, from 06:00 12/02/2026, minor flooding could again affect fields, roads and gardens of Tanbridge Park, Blackbridge Court, Arunside School Fields, gardens of mill properties between Broadbridge Heath and Billingshurst, and near Pallingham Lock. River levels should begin to fall by Thursday evening. However, more rain is possible Friday and Sunday. Further river rises and flood risk are possible at the end of the week. Unsettled weather could continue until March. Our automatic sluice at Provender Mill is operating to reduce flood risk. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have in Wanford.
