High tides, strong winds and large waves today may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible from 3:36pm to 7:36pm on 18th December 2025. 

Areas most at risk include Preston Beach, Poole Harbour and Christchurch Harbour. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Weymouth and Preston Beach of 1.29mAODN at 5:36PM which is 0.55m above tide tables, with South Westerly force Wind 5 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level). 

We are closely monitoring the situation . 

Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
