Flood Warning: Washford River, riverside properties from Kingsbridge to Lower Roadwater

Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this morning.



Flooding is expected on 24 January 2026 from 2AM onwards.



Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Washford River, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around properties in Roadwater and roads in Kingsbridge.



We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one, and check that any flood resistance and resilience equipment you may have is operational.
