High tides this evening may lead to flooding.

Flooding is possible around 21:00 on Friday 17 July 2026

Flooding may affect locations at Porlock Bay on Friday 17 July, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around the coastline between Gore Point and Hurlstone Point including Porlock Weir. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Hinkley Point. The first forecast high water of 6.05 mAODN is at 21:00, with North Westerly Force 4 winds.

We are closely monitoring the situation .

Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .

This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 18 July 2026 or as the situation changes.
