Flood Warning: North Dartmoor Rivers

Rising river levels today may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible from the evening of 17 December 2025 . 

Rain is forecast overnight on Wednesday and during the day on Thursday with rivers expected to respond from Wednesday evening.



Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers.



The main areas of concern are Jacobstowe, Okehampton and North Tawton. 

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . 

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
