High tides, strong winds and large waves tomorrow morning may lead to flooding.

Flooding is possible over Thursday morning's high tide.

Areas particularly at risk include low lying coastal communities.

The high tide at Plymouth on Thursday morning is at 06:57 AM, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 2.66mAOD. Expect tide levels along the coast to be between 0.2 and 0.3 metres above tide table level. Strong Force 4 North-Westerly winds and offshore wave heights of up to 3m are forecast over the high tide.

Coastal conditions should ease for Thursday evening's high tide.

We are closely monitoring the situation .

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .

This message will be updated by 3:00PM on 19 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
