High tides and forecast weather conditions over the next three days may lead to flooding.

Flooding is possible over the high tides from Tuesday 4th to Friday 7th November

Low lying coastal roads, promenades, car parks, and harbours may be flooded. Areas particularly at risk include exposed coastal areas of Plymouth Sound, Cawsand, Kingsand, The Hoe, Millbrook & low lying areas on estuaries.

High tide at Plymouth on Tuesday is at 4:35pm and Wednesday at 5:01am. Forecast total high tide level is 2.81mAOD and 2.83mAOD respectively. Expect tide levels to be 0.3-0.4m above tide table level. Force 6 southerly winds and offshore wave heights of around 3m are forecast. Tides of most concern are Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.

We are closely monitoring the situation .

Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
