High tides and forecast weather conditions over the next two days may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible 2 hours either side of high tide today, Tuesday evening and tomorrow, Wednesday morning.
Areas particularly at risk including Cawsand, Kingsand, The Hoe, Millbrook, and low lying areas on the Tidal Lynher, Tamar, Tavy, Plym and Yealm estuaries.
The forecast total high tide at Plymouth on Tuesday is 2.85m at 20:22 and on Wednesday the forecast total high tide is 2.66m at 08:40. Times of high water will vary along the coast. Expect tide levels along the coast to be between 0.42 and 0.47 metres above tide table level. A strong, force 6, southeast to southerly wind and offshore wave heights of over 2m are forecast. Locations most affected will be coastal roads and footpaths.
