High tides and forecast weather conditions over the next three days may lead to flooding.

Flooding is possible over the high tides from Tuesday 4th to Friday 7th November.

Low lying coastal roads, promenades, car parks and harbours may be flooded. Areas particularly at risk include low lying areas in Falmouth, Penryn, Flushing, Mylor Bridge, the A39 at Perranarworthal, Devoran, Calenick, Truro and A390 at Tresillian.

High tide at Falmouth on Tuesday is 4:00pm and Wednesday 4:22am. Forecast total high tide level is 2.65mAOD and 2.67mAOD respectively. Expect tide levels to be between 0.3-0.4m above tide table level. Strong force 6 southerly winds and offshore wave heights of around 3m are forecast. High tides of most concern are Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.

We are closely monitoring the situation .

Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
