Forecast rising river levels overnight may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from the early hours of 26 June 2026 .
Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including Kingfisher Way, Forest Road and Monarch Way, from the Grace Dieu Brook, the Black Brook, Burleigh Brook, Wood Brook, Grammar School Brook, Hermitage Brook, Sileby Brook, Long Whatton Brook, King’s Brook and Kingston Brook. Thunderstorms are forecast over the next 12 hours, with low confidence over timing and locations. River levels may rise rapidly due to the nature of the catchments.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have & monitor local water levels and weather conditions.
This message will be updated by 9:00AM on 26 June 2026 or as the situation changes.
