Forecast rising river levels overnight may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible from overnight on 22 October 2025 . 

Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads around the tributaries of the River Trent in Nottinghamshire, the River Greet, Potwell Dyke, Dover Beck, Cocker Beck, Woodborough Brook, Ouse Dyke, Thurgarton Beck and others. Heavy rainfall is forecast from 23:00 tonight, 22/10/2025 through to tomorrow morning, 23/10/2025. River levels are expected to rise in the early hours of tomorrow morning, 23/10/2025, through to 12:00 tomorrow, 23/10/2025.

Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .
