Flood Warning 053WAF102THT

Butts Drain, Barrow Beck, East Halton Beck

Warning added: 17:32, 19th November 2019

Over the past few weeks we have seen heavy and prolonged rainfall across North Lincolnshire. This means that the groundwater levels across the South of the Humber Estuary have risen. River levels also remain high in the Humber tributaries. We expect both ground water and river levels to remain high throughout the next few days. We are constantly monitoring river levels, and have staff in the field checking for blockages and clearing weedscreens. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated on Wednesday, 20th November, or as the situation changes.
