Flood Warning: River Kennet and its tributaries from Berwick Bassett down to Newbury

Property flooding is not expected.

River levels remain high on the River Kennet following recent rainfall and high groundwater levels but are now starting to fall slowly. Therefore no further flooding of low lying land and roads is expected. The forecast today, 25/04/2024 is mostly dry but with a chance of some showers developing through the afternoon. River levels are expected to remain high over the coming days and sensitive to further rainfall.
